Countin' Down to the next vacation

Less than two weeks to go...then off on a 3-week, 15-state, whirlwind US tour! I've already informed that stoopid cat, Jack, that I am claiming the best seat on the dashboard.  One of the benefits, I guess, of having opposing thumbs!

First try

OK... now we're into the 21st century!   Getting ready for a 3-week "adventure" on the road with Nanny, Pappa, & Mike [my hero!]

Only 20 days to go, then off on a circuitous cross-country trek through Indiana, Illinois, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada...then back home via Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma..back to Indiana, then Ohio and Home!

I'm taking my cousin Mel home to Peoria ... he's been with me since the Spring when we went on a Caribbean cruise [with Mike & Robert].  Unfortunately, he can't handle his drinking so I've decided to let him stay home in Illinois.  My next cruise will be with a monkey I can monkey with! <snicker-snicker>
